Stop unloading your office-time anger onto your parents, friends, spouse, kids, or even pets. They’re not the ones who ignored your email, scheduled a meeting at 6 PM, or said “let’s circle back” for the tenth time today. These good people (and animals) are your safe space … they deserve your love, not your leftover frustration 🙁

If you had a bad day, maybe consider just saying so. “Work was awful” is way better than snapping over why the milk is finished or why you can’t find the phone charger. You’re way more likely to get a hug, some chocolate, or someone saying, “Forget it, let’s order in.”

So, take a deep breath, leave the work drama at the door, and let the people who love you remind you why life isn’t all bad.
