Dear Rookie,
Do you have a gazillion tabs open at once? Excel sheets, Word docs, WA pings, and, of course, that one YouTube tab where a cat is playing the piano and the “I am still thinking” Amazon shopping basket tab?
I used to think it made me look like a multitasking genius. In reality? Pure chaos. My laptop fan sounded like it was taking flight, nothing got done properly, and it took ages to find / share anything in a meeting with my usual phrase being, “bear with me… trying to find it… oops, that’s not it… not that one either … there, found it finally!”
Unless you’re aiming to break a world record for ‘most tabs open before a laptop crashes’, consider cleaning up the mess. Close the tabs, focus on one thing, and your productivity will go up – or at least until you reach for your phone 😉
